Automatically Routing Around Outages
The Polycom DMA system receives notification if a bridge goes down or becomes full, and responds to
prevent loss of service. Only the capacity is reduced during the outage.
In the case of a conference call failover, that is, if a connection to a bridge fails during a call, the DMA
system automatically holds the call and reestablishes it on another bridge. End users and administrators
do not have to intervene.
